*Beltaine, Walpurgisnacht, Tanz in den Mai, Mayday, Maibaumfest...*

This years cycle celebration has many names and customs. Especially it’s about inviting the Wild, Ecstatic, Sensuous, Fertile & the Free.

the God of the Sun in uniting with the holy Mother Earth, and part of her holiness is sensuality, love, sexuality and the pure pleasure and joy.

In that sense, we open a ritualistic space to open ourselves, to feel ourselves, the gateways of life and nature in and all around us to awaken and to let them dance together.

Burning away trought the fire, what we don't need anymore, freeing, liberating....

It's a Celebration that brings fertility trough the Holy Union of two opposites, Women & Men, Sun & Earth, Water & Light, Yin& Yang...

Dieses Jahreskreisfest hat viele Namen und Bräuche. Es ist eine gelebte und getanzte Einladung an das Wilde, Ekstatische, Lustvolle, Fruchtbare & Freie in UNS.

Der Sonnengott paart sich mit unserer heiligen Mutter Erde. Und zu ihrer Heiligkeit gehören Sinnlichkeit, Liebe, Sexualität und Freude dazu.

In diesem Sinne, eröffnen wir einen rituellen Raum dafür uns aufzumachen, uns zu spüren, die Tore des Lebens und der Natur in & um uns herum zu erwecken und miteinander tanzen zu lassen!

Lasst durch das Feuer verbrennen was uns nicht mehr dient, befreit und freigemacht.

Es ist eine Zelebration die Fruchtbarkeit durch die Vereinigung von heiligen Polaritaeten kreiert, Frauen & Maenner, Sonne & Erde, Wasser & Licht, Yin & Yang...

Es ist ein Versuch einer Ritualnacht, die das Jahreskreisfest von Beltane markiert, die es mit modernen Arten von Musik, Kunst und Kreativitaet ueberbrueckt.

Stories about the Yearly cycle’s Celebration...

From the old times, there exist stories that tell....

that rules were held over the whole year to keep a healthy order within a clan, but - on that day - they were put into the tabu free zone. Which means that it was allowed to follow impulses that were normally kept under lock & key. To give a place to the attractions and the freedom, once in a year.

It was a night of wild & magnificent celebration, magical drinks were sipped, with plants celebrated, dancing the whole night, relationships were allowed to open if they wanted to, the fertility of the earth was awakened through the sensuality between the humans. Freedom, to free oneself from that, which has been started already in winter, to show itself and peel off… everything finally was stripped off, to step into the free flourishing and the full potential of springtime and to celebrate the upcoming sommer.

*Putting up the Maypole*
The maypole was always a tradition of fertility, the male tree was lifted up into the heights, to create the connection between sky and earth & the female circle / wreath, that holds all of life in itself. They unite in the divine creation. To bring abundance, materialize good harvest and to awaken the sprouting lifeforce for the summer, that is calling for us.

Geschichten zu dem Jahreskreisfest …

Von damals gibt es Geschichten die erzählen, dass
die Regeln, die das ganze Jahr über bewusst eingehalten wurden, um eine gesunde Ordnung zu halten im Klan, die aber an diesem Tag in einer tabu-freien Zone blieben. Das heißt, dass man Impulsen nachgehen durfte, die normalerweise unter Verschluss blieben. Um auch den Anziehungen und der Freiheit einmal im Jahr ihren Platz zu geben :)

Es wurde wild gefeiert, magische Tränke getrunken, mit Pflanzen zelebriert, die ganze Nacht getanzt, Beziehungen durften sich öffnen, wenn man das wollte, die Befruchtung der Erde wurde durch Sensualität zwischen den Menschen ins Leben gerufen. Freiheit, sich befreien von all dem, was im Winter bereits angefangen hat, sich zu zeigen und zu schälen... all das wurde endlich abgelegt, um frei in die Blüte zu treten und das volle Potential des Frühlings und des kommenden Sommers zu feiern.

*Maibaum aufstellen*
Das Maibaumaufstellen war immer ein Brauch der Fruchtbarkeit, der männliche Baum in die Höhe gestellt, die Verbindung zwischen Himmel & Erde und der weibliche große Kreis / Kranz, der all das Leben in sich hält. Sie vereinigen sich in der göttlichen Kreation. Um Fülle und gute Ernte zu materialisieren, und die spriessende Lebenskraft aufzuwecken für den Sommer, der nach uns ruft.
