Integration in Motion - Psychedelic Integration Circle & Yoga

Altered states/psychedelic experiences can open doors to deep insights, new emotions and wild visions... but these are most meaningful if we engage in the practice of making sense of and embodying these experiences in daily life - That is where the magic happens, that is integration.

Integration in Motion is a small-group gathering designed to support this journey through movement, meditation, and eye-level reflection.

We will use various asanas and pranayama techniques to reconnect with the body, meditative reflection to settle insights, and a peer-based integration circle to explore personal experiences in a supportive, non-judgmental space.

Participants are expected to attend in a clear and grounded state—please do not arrive under the influence of any substances. No exchange, sharing, or use of any substances will take place under any circumstances. This space is dedicated to integration, reflection, and embodied practice in a safe and supportive environment.

What is Integration?

Integration is the process of digesting, making meaning of, and applying insights from psychedelic experiences into everyday life.
There is a lot of scientific research out there about psychedelic experiences and their potential benefits, where aftercare has proved to be just as important of an aspect as set/setting.
Integration unfolds across multiple realms—mental, emotional, somatic, behavioral, relational, and spiritual. Drawing from psychedelic harm reduction frameworks and the Realms of Integration Model (Buller & Moore, 2019, Gorman et al., 2021), this session emphasizes somatic processing as a key component of integration.

Why Yoga for Integration?

Yoga is an ancient practice that unites body, breath, and awareness—a powerful approach to grounding psychedelic insights. It has also become an accessible way of using movement to inhabit our physical forms while helping to move towards a clear, grounded state in our everyday lives.

Who is this for?

This space is open to anyone integrating a psychedelic experience or exploring the connection between body, mind, and altered states of consciousness.

Sessions will be in English & German - basic comprehension of both languages is ideal.

Who will lead the session?

Orsi is a researcher, consultant, and harm reduction advocate with over a decade of experience supporting people through psychedelic crises. She co-founded the Psychedelic Society of Vienna, PsyCare Austria, has worked extensively in drug policy and harm reduction internationally, and is a regular speaker at international conferences on these topics.

Beyond harm reduction, Orsi is deeply immersed in yoga as a holistic practice—not just asana, but its full philosophical and meditative dimensions. She completed her 200-hour Multistyle YTT and 75-hour Meditation & Yin YTT in India, where she encountered altered states of consciousness through breath, movement, and stillness alone. This experience reinforced her belief that expanded states aren’t meant to exist in isolation but should be integrated into daily life.

Altered states can take you on a wild journey; integration helps you draw the map of what you’ve explored.

This session is offered on a donation basis to keep it accessible while honoring the energy and care put into creating it. A typical drop-in yoga class in Vienna costs around €23, so if you're able, consider contributing at least that amount. If you can give more, it helps support those with less financial flexibility. A portion of all contributions will be donated directly to Psycare Austria, supporting harm reduction and psychedelic peer care in our community.
