With the U-Bahn:

• Take the U1 station "Kaisermühlen, Vienna International Centre"
• Exit at "Donau-City-Straße"
• Cross the taxi and bus stand, walk past the church towards Tech Gate
• Turn left after Tech Gate and walk past DC Tower to the stairs (labeled "District Living")
• Walk up the stairs and take the last entrance.

By car from Reichsbrücke:

• Turn left at the traffic light (sign: "Donau-City")
• In the first roundabout, take the second exit
• In the second roundabout, take the second exit towards DC Tower
• Park in the DC Tower Garage (paid parking)
• Exit on level 0, go right to the stairs (labeled "District Living") and take the last entrance.

Event Details:

This event kicks off the new Web3 Hub by DLT Austria with a fascinating topic: quantum computing and its impact on Web3 security. DLT Austria will start with an overview of quantum computing, cryptography, and blockchain basics. After that, we will explore how quantum computing could affect blockchain technology.

DI Gottfried Szing (Board Member of DLT Austria, Business Analyst, Software Architect) and Mag. Vinzenz Treytl (Member of DLT Austria,
Senior Researcher) will present the topics, together with Ardit Ymeri from OpenValue. Ardit Ymeri is a Senior Software Engineer at OpenValue Vienna. He is enthusiastic about studying Theoretical Computer Science and AI. Ardit has collected 9+ years of experience in software engineering that includes development of static analyzers, Java refactoring tools, code code transformers with applications on large scale financial institution systems, and more. He likes analyzing complex problems.

Ed Prinz, MSc, with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, including leadership in software development, operations, and project management, this professional has served as an advisor and active member in various blockchain organizations and expert groups. Since 2017, they have been a web3 advisor for numerous blockchain startups and corporate initiatives, contributing through research, analysis, and the authoring of articles on web3 applications and blockchain protocols. (Chairperson, Distributed Ledger Technology Austria)

Jana Faschinger-Sanborn, MSc has been a Project Manager at ECQA GmbH® since 2021. By investigating the skill transformation through Blockchain and other Distributed Ledger Technologies, she was able to significantly contribute to the success of the Europe-wide CHAISE initiative. 🌍💡

• Robin Ridolfi has been working in the financial industry for 10 years, with a focus on crypto in the past four years. Before joining Bitget, he led the institutional management and a USD 1 billion lending desk at another major crypto exchange. He also has extensive experience in crypto investments; Robin Ridolfi was a partner and board member at a Blockchain Impact Investment company in Zurich, and additionally managed the assets of individual clients. Since the summer of 2024, Robin Ridolfi has been working at Bitget, where he is responsible for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and VIP clients.
